Another weekend of solid progress for Jack at the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta. Following on from Jack's first heat win at Lonato, Jack set the fasted lap time in his group, placing him 3rd out of 105 drivers. Jack started the heats in group C, which meant he started on pole in 3 heats and in second place in 2 heats.
In Heat C-D Jack decent pace, but the race was a battle from start to end and he finished P5. In Heat A-C, Jack started P2 but struggled for pace and finished P9.
Saturdays Heat B-C was his toughest. Jack was battling around P6 when he went off, falling to P20, fighting his way to P14, P12 after penalties.
In Heat C-E and Heat C-F Jack fought it out every lap to finish P3 in both heats.
Jack was placed P11 after the heat phase, out of 105 drivers.
Jack started Sundays Pre-Final A in P6. Jack started on used tires and struggled for pace, and fell back to P13.
Jack started the final in P14, but on new tires. The team changed the carb and the engine electrics and voila Jack had his pace back! Jack climbed to P8, but was sent off the track and down to P15. Jack recovered to P13 but was classified P10.
Overall, it was a great weekend overall. He had speed and put in some good performances. A massive thank you to Parolin Racing, Jacks coach Lorenzo Travisanutto and GFR Engines for all you do for Jack.
